We have decided to adopt organic production (BIO) with respect to our living environment and the care for our health. Our olive oils are also covered by the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO).

What do we offer?

Visit our online store and treat yourself to top quality olive products from Slovenian Istria.

The Morgan farm is located in the middle of the unspoilt nature of Slovenian Istria, in the village of Grintovec at an altitude of 219 m above sea level.

At the end of the 1990s we decided to expand by restoring the old olive groves in the surroundings of our village and by planting 1000 new olive trees.

The olives in our olive groves are harvested by hand at their optimal maturity.

The majority of olive trees in our olive groves belong to the autochthonous variety Istrian Belica, but we also cultivate other varieties such as Maurino, Leccino, Buga, Itrana and also Štorta, which is also autochthonous and is excellent for table olives debittered in brine.

    Quality

    We have embarked on a more challenging path, but we firmly stand behind our decision that only the best is good enough.

    Cold pressing

    The undamaged fruits are processed on the day of their harvest in a state-of-the-art oil mill at a temperature lower than 27 degrees Celsius, using only mechanical procedures in accordance with the strictest rules for processing olives from organic farming.

    Hand picking and selecting the right fruits

    We hand pick and select the fruits of the Istrian black variety Leccino used for our extra virgin olive oil, and the green olives of the Štorta variety in brine.

    Top quality

    After extraction, the olive oil is filtered to remove the last remaining solid particles and water.

    Until bottling, our olive oil is stored in controlled conditions to ensure its maximum quality and shelf life.
