Extra virgin olive oil Leccino
The Tuscan variety Leccino is the most widespread variety in Slovenian Istria, right after the Istrian Belica. It yields slightly earlier and is more resistant to frost and certain diseases.
Extra virgin olive oil from the variety Leccino has medium mild flavour with a regulated bitterness and spiciness. It is distinguished by its harmony and likeability. For those who are less accustomed to olive oil it will be an excellent entry into its world.
It’s a perfect condiment for pasta, rice, with white meat, fish, minestrones, vegetable soups and salads.
